Members of UNA’s General Assembly, gathered at their special meeting over the weekend of December 4-5, 2010, heard the good news from the executive oficers that the UNA’s financial condition continues to improve. They also participated in planning sessions related to the UNA’s core business, as well as its fraternal activities, including the Soyuzivka Heritage Center and its two newspapers, Svoboda and The Ukrainian Weekly.
“The UNA continues to head in the right direction,” noted President Stefan Kaczaraj, pointing to increasing sales of insurance products and higher incomes from investments, plus a significant increase in the UNA’s assets during the first nine months of 2010.
